63.1% pass rate for driving test in Leitrim

Who can take a driving test during Level 5 Lockdown - RSA clarifies situation

Nearly two-thirds of those who sit the driving test in Co Leitrim pass according to figures available online.

The pass rate in Carrick-on-Shannon is 63.1% according to the latest data available from the Road Safety Authority (RSA).

Pass rates in Cavan are slightly higher at 67.9% while Donegal town has a pass rate of 60.8%.

In Longford the pass rate is similar to that of Donegal at 60.2% while in Roscommon, the figure is slightly lower with 58.9% of those sitting the driving test, passing.

Figures for Sligo show that 59% of those completing the test, pass.

Cork (Ballincollig) has the highest pass rate at 74.5% closely followed by Loughrea in Galway with 74.9%.

The overall national average pass rate is just 55.2% with nearly half of applicants failing the test on average.
