Following a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his infant brother Robert. Sadly missed by his beloved wife Violet, adored son Samuel, heartbroken parents Harold and Betty, brother John, sisters Margaret (Shane), Jenny (Carl), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncle, nephews, nieces, extended family, great neighbours and many friends.

Kieran Brennan, Cloone, Leitrim

The death has occurred of Kieran Brennan, Cloone, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, Saturday 17th June 2023 peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents; Mike Joe and Nancy and his nephew, Alan.
 
Kieran will be sadly missed by his loving wife; Mena, daughters; Orla (Darragh Barden) and Kiera (Damian Brady), sons; Paul (Harriett McCrann) and Michael, his sister; Mary (Gerard Doherty), and his brothers; Damian (Olive), Pacelli (Fionnuala) and Louie (Jacqueline), his aunt Peggy Kane, (New York) brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, neighbours and many friends.

Bernadette (Det) McNiffe, Drumkeel, Killargue, Leitrim / Tubbercurry, Sligo

The death has occurred of Bernadette (Det) McNiffe (nee Bradley), of Drumkeel, Killargue, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim. A former nurse, originally of Cloonacool, Tubbercurry, Co Sligo, Det passed away peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Det was the devoted wife of John Joe who predeceased her in February. Cherished mother of Michael, John, Joseph, Annamarie and Sinead, adored grandmother of Claire and Daniel. Also Molly and Jack and their mother Aisling. Sadly missed by her entire family, daughters-in-law Jacqui and Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Tony ( Murray) SUTTON, Cabra West, Dublin / Ballinamore, Leitrim

SUTTON, Tony (Murray), (Cabra West, Dublin and formerly of Ballinamore, Co Leitrim and Irish Rail, Inchicore), June 15, 2023 (peacefully) after a short illness in the tender care of the staff at The Mater Private Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Tony, beloved husband of Maura and devoted father of Marc and Barry. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters-in-law Nuala and Martina cherished grandchildren Daragh, Eimear, Caolan, Finn, Tadhg, brother Robert, step-sisters Ruth and Claire, aunts Pauline and Ann, uncle Lesley, brothers-in-law Sean and Josie, nieces, nephews and extended family, friends and neighbours.

Rita Beirne (née Keane), Cordrehid, Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon / Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim

June 16th 2023. Surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Tom. Much loved mother of Jim, Pauline, Angela, Brian, Breege, Tom, Des, John and Ita. Rita will be sadly missed by her sisters, Vera Kavanagh (Portlaoise), Ann Tully (Meath), Theresa Cunningham (Ballaghaderreen), her brothers Val (Cork), Des and John (Carrick-on- Shannon). Predeceased by her sisters Mai Cryan (Carrick on Shannon) and Sr Ita (Bon Secours, Cork), her brothers PJ (Ennis) and Michael (Dacklin, Carrick and Shannon.) Greatly missed by her grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and large circle of friends.
