Millions in Mohill! Local Centra store sells €4.2 million winning Lotto Jackpot ticket!

National Lottery reveals stores which sold winning Lotto tickets worth more than €12m

The winning ticket was bought in Mohill

A local Centra store nestled in the heart of Mohill has been revealed as the selling location for Wednesday night's winning Lotto Jackpot ticket worth an incredible €4,257,050.

The Leitrim winner scooped the €4.2 million jackpot prize in Wednesday’s Lotto draw after purchasing their winning ticket in Centra on Station Road in Mohill, Co. Leitrim.

The player has officially become the 25th National Lottery millionaire of 2023 as well as the 9th Lotto Jackpot winner of the year following wins in Limerick (2), Dublin (2), Meath, Donegal, Westmeath and Louth.

Store owner Eugene Baxter was delighted to hear the good news: “Ah it’s just brilliant, never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined that a simple trip to our Centra shop could lead to such a life-changing moment for one of our customers. We’ve never had a win this big in Mohill and its incredible to think that we played a part in someone’s journey to a €4.2 Million fortune! We’re absolutely thrilled for the winner and I’m sure the entire community will be sharing in this excitement over the next couple of days”, he said.

The National Lottery is continuing to urge Lotto players in Leitrim to check their tickets carefully as Wednesday’s top prize winner is yet to make contact. The newest National Lottery millionaire is advised to sign the back of their ticket, which is now worth over €4.2 million, and keep it safe. The winner should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize.

Meanwhile, tonight’s EuroMillions draw is set to see one player in Ireland become the 26th National Lottery millionaire of the year with a special ‘Ireland Only Raffle’.

In every EuroMillions draw, ten players win €5,000 with their unique raffle number. Tonight’s draw will see one of the Raffle winners scoop €1 million, in addition to their €5,000 prize. EuroMillions players hoping to win big in the Friday night draw can purchase tickets in-store, through the National Lottery app or online at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.30pm cut-off times for sales this evening.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 35 years ago.
