HSE have agreed to award a contract to paint the exterior of the HSE health centre in the Village of Ballinaglera
Local Fine Gael Councillor Enda McGloin has been informed that the HSE have agreed to award a contract to paint the exterior of the HSE health centre in the Village of Ballinaglera.
It is expected that the work will take place in March or April, weather dependent.
Cllr McGloin raised the issue with Deputy Frank Feighan and at the January meeting of Ballinamore Municipal Meeting.
In a reply to Deputy Feighan the HSE confirmed that the contract had been agreed with the successful applicant however it was agreed to wait until the weather improved before the exterior painting would commence.
“Ballinaglera village is kept well and very picturesque place, the poor state of the exterior public building in the heart of the village was a source of annoyance for many locals” stated the FG Councillor.
“I want to thank the head of service for Primary Care, Mandy Doyle for the positive response to my representations and to Frank Feighan TD for his assistance in getting this work approved”, concluded Cllr McGloin.
