Gardaí in Carrick-On-Shannon have issued an appeal for information on a vehicle following a recent series of reported thefts across the town.
Gardaí said in a local text alert that a "number of burglaries" have occurred across the Carrick-On-Shannon and Cortober areas in the last few days.
They are appealing to the public to assist them in pursuing suspects, and are looking for information on a grey Audi TT, which gardaí say was "seen in the vicinity of these incidents".

"If you see a vehicle matching this description acting suspiciously in your area, please contact Gardaí immediately," the text alert read.
