Lighting called for in Leitrim village
A Leitrim councillor asked the executive if there was funding available for lighting to be extended at Ardrum, Ballinamore from Beirne's filling station that would facilitate the houses there.
The response said there was no funding provided in the Roadworks program for extensions to public lighting.

Speaking to the Leitrim Observer, Cllr Reynolds-Flynn said: "We have to apply for funding. There are 15 houses there and there is no lighting. They are connected to the town sewerage system which would make that a great place to buy a site."
