Motorists have been advised of "incredibly dangerous" roads in Leitrim with a number of minor accidents on Thursday morning.
An alert has been issued to the Ballinamore / Aughnashellin / Keshcarrigan / Fenagh text alert group warning of the icy conditions.
The Drumherrif, Drumshanbo road is currently closed due to a number of minor accidents.
"Road conditions incredibly dangerous. Essential journeys only and if travelling use extreme caution," the alert advises.
