Mohill Community College
Sligo Leitrim TD and local Minister of State, Frank Feighan TD has warmly welcomed funding announced by the Minister for Education, Norma Foley TD to facilitate the addition of new classrooms for Mohill Community College in Co Leitrim.
The successful application will provide for 1 SET Room, Music Room, Graphics Room, Technology Room, Technology Prep Area, SEN base, and a user Assisted WC. The exact amount of the grant is not released due to procurement rules.
“This is good news for the community of Mohill and the wider South Leitrim area with 7 additional rooms to the campus building. I do hope work on procurement can be advanced as soon as possible and that there won’t be any major disruption to pupils in the classrooms. I hope significant progress will happen during 2023 and work gets underway.
“In conclusion I wish to congratulate the school principal and the board of management on their successful application”, concluded Minister Feighan.
