'Where do we start?'- Gardaí stunned as they stop driver for four offences in one go
Gardaí in Kilkenny were left stunned on Monday when they stopped the driver of a pick-up truck and discovered they were breaking four different road traffic offences.
"Where do we start?" gardaí began a post on the Waterford/Kilkenny/Carlow Division Facebook page.
They went on to explain that the driver stopped by a Roads Policing Unit in Callan, Co Kilkenny, was driving with no licence and no insurance. They also found their tax was 710 days out of date.
Not only that, but they claimed the fuel tank of the vehicle was "full of green diesel" which is illegal.
"Shank's Mare now," gardaí joked, referring to the driver now being forced to get around on foot after the incident.
