Several Johnston Mooney & O'Brien products withdrawn from supermarket shelves across the country
Consumers are being advised not to eat a variety of of backed products produced by Johnston Mooney & O'Brien due to the possible presence of metal pieces.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued a warning and retailers, wholesalers and distributors have been directed to removed the products from sale and to contact customers.
The affected products include a number of different brand names including Brennans, Bundys, Dunnes Stores, Lidl, Supermac's, Burger King and Kepak.
Consumers are being advised not to eat the implicated batches, which have expiry dates of July 20 and July 21, 2024.
According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, retailers have been asked to remove implicated batches from sale and to display recall notices at point-of-sale.

In its public notice, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland says Environmental Health Officers have been requested to verify that the implicated batches have been recalled from sale.
