Fat freezing device recalled from shops in Ireland due to risk of electric shock

A popular product is being recalled from shops in Ireland due to the risk of electric shock.

According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the L(A)B Cryo Belt's plug does not meet the required safety standards, leading to a serious risk of electric shock.

Implicated batch numbers are 734796, 734856 and 734826.

Approximately 500 affected products were sold in the Republic of Ireland and United Kingdom, and were available to purchase from October 2022 to November 2022.

Customers should stop using the product immediately and return it to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a full refund.

If customers have any further queries in relation to this recall, please email TK Maxx at customerservice@tjxeurope.com or call on 01 2476126.
