Neil Diamond fans are in for a treat when the talented Peter Byrne takes to the stage with his ‘Hot August Night’ live performances tour that returns to Ireland in August 2023.
It is over 50 years since Neil Diamond stepped on stage at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles with a symphony orchestra and recorded what is still known today as one of the greatest epic live albums of all time. Now that album will be re-created in its original format.
Featuring the classic songs Crunchy Granola Suite, Cracklin Rosie, Sweet Caroline, and I am I said, you will see the same spontaneous display of energy and sensuality of Neil Diamond with the superb talents of Peter Byrne.
Peter’s capacity to recreate Neil Diamond to a standard that Neil himself has endorsed on many occasions hearing Peter’s tribute. Neil Diamond recently announced retirement from live performing due to illness. Peter decided he will also salute 50 years of his music with some memorable moments in the show.
After Peter’s last sell-out tour of Ireland in 2022 in his hometown of Dublin in the National Concert Hall with the RTE Concert Orchestra, the 2023 tour will return once again begin in Dublin on August 11-12 (sold out), INEC in Killarney on August 18, and at The Royal Theatre Castlebar with the Orchestra of Ireland on August 19.
Peter Byrne’s career is studded with awards from the entertainment industry, acknowledging his outstanding ability to create and perform shows that take his audience on a memorable journey of songs and music.
