Deaths in Leitrim - Wednesday, June 14, 2023

Michael Fox, Sallyfield, Gorvagh, Leitrim - Suddenly at his residence, 10th June 2023. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Kathleen Purcell & Bella Wrynn, brother-in-law Brian Wrynn, niece Orla Purcell, nephews Darragh Purcell & Caillin Wrynn, extended family, neighbours and friends. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Cloone on Wednesday morning at 11am followed by burial in Cloone Cemetery. Funeral Mass may be viewed on www.churchtv.ie/cloone

Stephanie Walsh, 1 The Laurels Woodtown Lodge, Sligo Town, Sligo / Collooney, Sligo / Glencar, Leitrim - Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the care of the nurses and staff at North West Hospice. Stephanie, predeceased by her father Stephen and cousins Sarah and Tom. Loving daughter of Maura and dear sister of Caroline, Kieran, Fiona and Niall. She will be sadly missed by her mother, sisters, brothers, brother-in-law Gautham, sisters-in-law Leonie and Tonya, nieces and nephews Sashi, Sandy, Theju, Cian, Darragh, Nathan, Evin, Rhiannon, Olwyn, Aoife, Daniel and Lochlan, relatives and her large circle of close friends. Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Tuesday evening from 5:00pm with removal at 7:00pm to arrive at The Church of The Assumption, Collooney at 7:30pm. Requiem mass will take place at 12:00pm on Wednesday. Cremation Service will take place at Shannon Crematorium on Thursday at 2pm. Brian Donohue, Ardlougher House, Ballyconnell and the Star Furniture and Carpets, Ballyconnell formerly Supermarket, Main St - Suddenly and peacefully at the Mater Private Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. His strong and supportive presence will be forever missed by his loving and heartbroken wife Anne, children, Niamh, Áine, Etaoin, Pádraig, Clodagh, their partners, his sister Mary, brother John, grandkids, relatives and friends. Removal on Wednesday morning arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes church, Ballyconnell for funeral mass at 12 o'clock via Ballyheady, Ballinamore road and Main street. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only but do please share your memories of Brian with us in the coming days and weeks. He lived a long and happy life and we’d love to hear about him through your memories. Brian's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all the medical staff at the Mater Private Hospital especially those in St Elizabeth's ward who cared for Brian over his last few days. Sheila Heery (née Wilson) Bundoran, Donegal - 12th June 2023 peacefully at Culmore Manor, Derry, aged 93, beloved wife of Joseph (formerly of Belfast), loving mother of Angela, Michael and the late Sean, mother-in-law of Brian and Louise, devoted grandmother of Louise, Paul, Laura, Meghan, Niall, Louis and Danny, great-grandmother of Jamie and Jordon and dear sister of the late Thelma and Desmond. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at her home, 20 Oak Country Green, Derry, BT47 6FU, on Tuesday from 12 noon to 10 pm. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 9.30 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, Waterside. Interment will take place in Bundoran on Thursday.

Mairead O’Dolan, Belcoo, Fermanagh - 12th June 2023, peacefully at the Tilery Nursing Home, Late of Station House, Belcoo, and Rusheen Belcoo. Dear sister of Paddy, Olivia, Eilish, Una and Frances. Predeceased by her parents Joe and Elizabeth and her brothers Malachy, Johnny, Joey, Charlie and Mickey. Mairéad will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her brother, sisters, nieces, nephews and wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Mairéad will be reposing at Station House, Belcoo from 7pm on Monday. Removal of remains on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to St Patrick's Church, Holywell arriving for 11.00am Requiem Mass with interment to the adjoining cemetery.
