The following deaths have occurred in the wider Leitrim area:

Michael Maguire, 8 MacNean Crescent, Glenfarne, Leitrim / Rossinver, Leitrim

Michael Maguire 8 MacNean Crescent, Glenfarne Co Leitrim, Formerly Lisross, Rossinver, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Michael John and Mary B Maguire. Sadly missed by his sons Tomás and Adrian, his brother Thomas (Dublin), sisters Carmel (Drumkeeran), Patricia (Kildare), Bernadette (Sligo), Teresa (Rossinver) and Elizabeth (Glencar), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral to arrive at St Aidan’s Church, Ballaghmeehan Rossinver on Sunday for 12.30pm Funeral Mass followed by burial in Rossinver Cemetery.

Terry Moran, Dromahair, Leitrim / Maugheraboy, Sligo

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at North West Hospice. Terry, loving husband of Lisa, dear son of Mary and brother of Diane, Michelle, Liam and Laurence. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, mother, sisters, brothers, mother and father in-law Mario and Lesley, sisters-in-law Sarah, Lynette and Charlene, brother-in-law Adrian, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and all those he met. Reposing at his mother’s residence at Oak Park, Maugheraboy, Sligo on Monday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Cortege will leave his residence on Tuesday morning at 11:00am to arrive at The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo for Requiem Mass at 11:30am. Funeral will proceed to Lakelands Crematorium for a private cremation Service after. Donations in lieu of flowers if desired to SHOUT and/or North West Hospice care of The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo.
