Gerties win JW Carthy  League as Leitrim Pool championship draw big numbers

What a night was had in Gerties. After trailing 11-6 away to the Barrel Store, Gerties got off to a flying start and kept the form up to win 18-16. 

The atmosphere was electric. Commiserations to the Barrel Store, what a team and no doubt they will be there next year. A massive congratulations to Garry Moffatt receiving player of the match. Thanks to everybody who came and supported the two teams.

Leitrim Championships

What a weekend was had at the Leitrim Pool Championships. We would like to thank everybody who turned up and supported Leitrim Pool. I hope everybody enjoyed it as much as we did.

U15 Singles: Winner Eoin Phillips, Runner up Oisin Lynch

U18 Singles: Winner Adam Casey, Runner up David Coulter

Over 50s; Winner Daniel Gaffey, Runner up Alan Cunningham

Doubles: Winners Kevin McWeeney/ Alex Mickelson; Runner up Stephen McTague/ Niall Sweeney

Father & Son: Winner Darren & Eoin Phillips; Runner up Riche & Liam Shanley

4 Man Team: Winners Keith Conlon, Darren Phillips, Richie Shanley, Brendan Mc Cormack; Runner up Niall Sweeney, Rhys Woods, Paul Quinn, JJ McVeigh

Men's Singles: Winner Gavin Donnelly; Runner Up Brendan Shivnan

A Premier League: Winner Kevin McWeeney; Runner Up Niall Sweeney

B Premier League: Winner Jamie Gaffney; Runner Up Paul Quinn

Mulvey’s win Benny Meehan Shield

Mulvey's edged the win with a 19-16 victory. Niall Sweeney received man of the match for his solid display. Commiserations to Club F who pushed a very strong Mulvey's team to the very end. A very special night was had remembering Benny Meehan and his family in our thoughts.
