Sports First Aid
Time is running out for anyone wishing to take part in the Leitrim Sport Partnership organised Sport First Aid course next Saturday, October 22.
The course, which will be held in the Leitrim County Council offices from 9.30 to 4.30, is designed for coaches, instructors, teachers, supervisors, sports assistants, and volunteers, teaches the medical assessment and management of a wide variety of sports injuries.
The recognition, assessment, and immediate on-site management of sports injuries are crucial to facilitate rehabilitation and to minimise further risk of harm to the athlete.
