Irish legend Packie Bonner for Leitrim Sports Star Awards

Irish goal-keeping legend Packie Bonner will be the special guest at this year's Leitrim Sports Star Awards on November 26.

As nominations close this Friday for this year’s Leitrim Sports Star Awards, the crowds are sure to flock to the event with the news that former Republic of Ireland and Celtic keeper Packie Bonner will be the special guest on the night.

The hero of Ireland’s 1990 World Cup penalty shoot-out win over Romania is sure to draw the crowds to the event, organised by the Leitrim Sports Partnership, which celebrate the great achievements of Leitrim’s sporting stars.

The Sports Star Awards are being held in The Landmark Hotel on Saturday November 26, and a special night of celebration with a four course meal being served, followed by the awards and appearances by our special guest plus some great entertainment.

Occupational First Aid Course

Leitrim Sports Partnership will host an Occupational First Aid course over the coming weeks, The comprehensive three-day QQI certification course, which will be held from 9 am to 4.30 in Leitrim County Council Office on Saturday November 5, 12 & 26, covers all the essential aspects of the occupational first aid.
