Met Éireann is also predicting a chance of thunderstorms with highs of 7 to 10 degrees

Blustery weather with a mix of sunny spells and showers is expected this weekend

SATURDAY: It will be another fresh and blustery day with a mix of sunny spells and showers with the continued chance of hail and thunderstorms. Some wintry falls are possible in the morning over high ground. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees but feeling colder in the fresh to strong northwest breeze.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Cold and breezy with clear spells and scattered showers. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees with fresh and gusty northwest winds, moderating later in the night.

SUNDAY: Dry in most areas with just the odd shower with highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees with mostly light and variable breezes at first but a freshening southerly breeze will develop later on. 

SUNDAY NIGHT: Widespread outbreaks of rain with some heavy falls. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees with moderate to fresh south or southeast winds.
