Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning for Leitrim, in effect from 10am today, September 11, until 10am tomorrow, September 12.
The national broadcaster has forecast spells of heavy rain, with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms, for counties Leitrim, Sligo and Donegal.
Potential impacts from the adverse weather include localised flooding, reduced visibility and hazardous travel conditions.
Tonight will bring clear spells and showers, some of them heavy, with a chance of isolated thunderstorms.

Tomorrow’s temperatures will range from highs of 13°C to lows of 7°C, with light rain showers expected in Leitrim.
By late afternoon, more persistent rain will develop in the west and spread eastwards through the evening.
