Friday 11th:
Glens One Act Drama Festival runs from November 11-13 with three different performances each night at 8pm in Manorhamilton.. Bookings on (071) 9855833.
Maeve Binchy’s ‘Minding Frankie’ premiere’s in the Backstage Theatre, Longford at 8pm.
Saturday 12th:
Midland and Western Charolais Club present ‘The Rose with a Bud’ in The Landmark Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon from 7pm. Tickets €15 on (086)6681707.
The people of Longford town and surrounding areas are in for a big treat in The Temperance Hall, Longford at 8.30pm when the Acorn Players Mohill, stage The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley. Proceeds are going to Little Loughlin Óg Burns from Bornacoola. Call (086) 0638498.
Ballinamore Library movie at 2.30pm ‘Postman Pat’ - free admission
Sunday 13th:
Unique Literary event in The Model Sligo includes Kinlough poet Monica Corish, events start at 2pm. Advances booking recommended.AIB Connacht Club Senior Championship Semi-Final - Aughawillan v St. Brigid’s (Roscommon) in Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada 2.30pm.
