A flower farm at Kilnagross, Carrick-on-Shannon will feature on tonight's episode of the popular agriculture programme 'Ear to the Ground (RTE One at 7pm).
Leitrim Flowers is a 12 acre farm owned by Ciarán and Kealin Beattie.
According to presenter Darragh McCullough the rushy meadows of Leitrim are probably the last place you would expect to find such a farm but their passion for nature inspired their idea of fresh native flowers as an alternative to roses which are flown halfway round the world.
