WATCH: All six seats filled in Carrick-on-Shannon as count runs into 14th hour

Only four seats remain to be filled for Leitrim County Council, one in Manorhamilton, and three in Ballinamore

The seventh and final count in the Carrick-on-Shannon area sees three candidates beam.

Sean McGowan, Fianna Fáil, Cormac Flynn, Sinn Féin, and Paddy Farrell, Fianna Fáil have all been elected.

Mr Farrell was elected without reaching the quota as he was ahead of Stephen King in the polling race.

Only four seats remain to be filled for Leitrim County Council, one in Manorhamilton, and three in Ballinamore.
