Three Leitrim teams are going for glory next weekend as the county's mens and ladies football teams and the hurlers are all  chasing places in National League Finals on a hectic weekend for the Green & Gold.

For the first time in living memory, all three of the county's adult teams are vying for places in their respective League deciders making it one of the most productive and busy times of the year for Leitrim teams.

Leitrim's dramatic victory over Laois keeps their Allianz NFL Division 4 promotion hopes alive as they head into a must win game against Sligo next Sunday afternoon at 1 pm in Avant Money Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada.

At virtually the same time, Jonny Garrity's ladies take on Fermanagh in the semi-finals of the Lidl LGFA Division 4 League in Templeport GAA club in Bawnboy at 2pm, leaving many fans with a big dilemma of which team to support.

Olcan Conway's hurlers can also win their way through to the Allianz NHL Division 3B Final if they prevail over Longford for the second week in a row on Saturday in Drumshanbo's Shane McGettigan Park, a 2pm throw-in there.

Should the hurlers and men's footballers win, their finals will take place  on the weekend of April 1-2, while the Ladies would be in action on Sunday, April 16, if they manage to overcome their neighbours on Sunday.

See this week’s Leitrim Observer for reports & reaction from a hectic week of League action.
