After sunshine in Leitrim, Met Éireann predicts a change for the worse

There will be a mix of sunny spells and some patchy drizzle in Leitrim on Sunday through to the following day. 

After some welcome sunshine, the weather is set to disimprove with cloud and lower temperatures. 

Breezy and generally cloudy on Sunday with patchy drizzle or light rain pushing in from the Atlantic. Some patches of mist too.

Some bright or sunny spells in parts later. Maximum temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in fresh and gusty northwest winds.

The solar UV index will be low to moderate on Sunday.

Later on Sunday night a  mix of cloud and clear spells will develop but it will remain mostly dry. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in moderate northwest winds are forecast.

Monday is expected to start out dry with sunny spells. However, it will cloud over from the west through the afternoon and evening with patchy drizzle. Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees in moderate to fresh westerly winds.
