Ophelia: Motorists advised to exercise extreme caution

Leitrim County Council have issued a warning to drivers to exercise extreme caution on the roads in aftermath of Storm Ophelia.

The local authority have advised that "trees and debris may remain down or fall overnight on Leitrim roads so motorists should take extreme caution, drive at reduced speed and minimise travel until crews can clear roads which may run through tomorrow."
