With a significant amount of snow still present on many roads the anticipated severe frost will lead to further challenging conditions on the roads and motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution.
Cold today with frost, ice & lying snow lingering in some regions. Further wintry showers across parts of the southwest, west & north but these will tend to become increasingly isolated later. Good sunny spells elsewhere. Highs 3 to 5 degrees generally in moderate breezes. pic.twitter.com/LzEULIAHPb
