JOB ALERT: New vacancy in Leitrim County Council with salary up to €67,000

Leitrim County Council has just listed a new job vacancy for a Programme Manager within the Leitrim Sports Partnership team.

The role is a full-time position, with the salary ranging from €55,090 to €67,304 per year.

The role of the Programme Manager will focus on supporting the management function within the Leitrim Sports Partnership team to meet the objectives of the Partnership within the framework of national and local policies. 

Leitrim Sports Partnership plays a lead role in the co-ordination, development and delivery of sport and physical activities for the communities of the county. The Partnership encourages and facilitates participation in sport, recreation, and physical activity across all members of the community.

The successful candidate will work in a coordinating capacity with all relevant stakeholders to increase and sustain participation opportunities for all population groups within Leitrim in sport and physical activity.

Some of the requirements listed for the role include having obtained a relevant third level degree or 5 years of relevant work experience. Areas of relevant third level degrees include Sport and Recreation, Health, Exercise Science, Physical Activity, Diversity and Inclusion, Social Justice, Community Development, Education or related field

Applicants are also required to have experience in project and/or people management. Experience in the community or voluntary sector would also be a benefit for those applying.
