Leitrim business 'delighted' after taking national food and drink award

The local Bakery has once again garnered national acclaim
Jinny’s Bakery in Leitrim have once again scooped an award on the national stage, this time at the national Family Business Awards 2026.
The Drumshanbo-based bakery and Cafe has taken the Bronze medal at the national Family Food and Drink Producer of the Year awards.
The top spots in the category were taken by Good4U, a health food company based in Sligo, and SiSu Juice Company from County Limerick, of which Irish boxer Katie Taylor is a partner.
Jinny’s is no stranger to national awards and in recent years has taken gold and one silver award at the Irish Food and Drink Quality Awards with their chocolate brownie and Irish Stout Bread Mixes, and five gold medals at the Irish Food Awards in 2022.
The bakery has also earned its place on supermarket shelves nationwide after securing places on Lidl's shelves for their Irish Stout Bread Mix and Sophie's Scone Mix.
The business is run by husband and wife Pascal Gillard and Sinead (Jinny) Gillard along with their children and staff in Drumshanbo.
