Woman dies from injuries sustained in Longford accident

A 31-year-old woman has died 17 days after the vehicle she was travelling in was involved in a colission with a truck at Minard, Co Longford.
 
Gardaí at Longford are continuing their investigation into the  collision which occurred at approximately 4.45pm on Monday, September 12 last.

The 31 year old woman, who was driving the car passed away last night, September 29, as a result of her injuries. Two children who were also travelling in the car received minor injuries and the truck driver was uninjured in the collision.

The 31 year old female driver died last night (29/9/16) as a result of injuries sustained in this collision.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact Longford Garda Station on 043 50570, the Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
