Met Éireann issues second Donegal wind warning for Tuesday

A Status Yellow wind warning for the entire country remains in place for this evening and into tomorrow, Friday, January 13.

Met Éireann note that westerly winds will be very strong and gusty today, in the west at first, progressing eastwards in the afternoon, reaching storm force at coastal areas of the northwest.

This could lead to possible downed trees, power outages and travel disruption. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution if driving on secondary roads in particular.
