'An absolute gentleman' - Tributes flood in following the death of much loved Leitrim man

Tributes have poured in following the passing of Ken Golden of Ferguson Street, Manorhamilton, County Leitrim

Ken sadly passed away peacefully at Sligo University Hospital on Sunday, 1 December.

Many have took to pay their respects to Ken and share their sympathies with his family online. 

On Ken's RIP.ie notice, one person wrote: "Ken was a true gentleman who has left a great legacy of memories to cherish forever. May Ken Rest In Eternal Peace."

Another said: "So sorry to hear of the passing of Ken, always a joy to meet, quick witted and a gentleman in every sense of the word. May he rest in eternal peace."

Someone else wrote: "Ken was an absolute gentleman and a great man to tell a story. He'll be sadly missed."

Ken will be reposing at Our Lady's Hospital Chapel in Manorhamilton (Eircode F91 X012) on Tuesday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Removal from his family home on Wednesday morning for Funeral Mass in St. Clare's Church in Manorhamilton at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
