Deaths in Leitrim.

The following deaths have taken place in Leitrim and the surrounding counties:

Michael Burke, Ballyfarnon, Roscommon

Michael Burke, London and formerly Ballyfarnon, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. April 17th 2018. Peacefully, following a prolonged illness. Beloved son of the late Paddy- Joe and recently deceased Mary. Sadly missed by his loving brothers Padraig, Frank, Tony, Noel and Brendan, sisters Marie and Ann, brother–in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours. Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon on Friday morning from 11.30 o’clock with Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyfarnon, arriving for Mass of Christian Burial 1.00 o’clock.

Mary Rogers (née Davis), Mill Road, Drumlish, Longford

Peacefully in the loving care of her family. Ex National School Teacher. Predeceased by her husband Jim, and her son Jim, sadly missed by her heartbroken children Ann Marie, Katherina, Philip and Grace by her adored grand children Grace, Jim, Tim and Michael, her sister Nancy, daughter in law Sinead, sons in law Chuck and Mark, Graces partner Paul, sisters in law, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Reposing at her home today, Thursday, from 3pm to 9pm. Removal Friday morning to St. Mary's Church, Drumlish for funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in local cemetery. House private Friday morning please. Interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery.

Eileen (Mary Ellen) Brady, St Patrick`s Terrace, Longford Town, Longford / Ballinamuck, Longford

Formerly Edenmore, Ballinamuck, peacefully at St Joseph's Hospital, Longford. Predeceased by her parents Willie & Elizabeth, sisters, Margaret, Elizabeth, Kathleen, brothers Fr. Peter, Francis, Mel & Kevin. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, cousins, relatives and friends. Reposing at St Joseph's Hospital Chapel on Thursday evening from 5 to 7pm with removal on Friday morning to St Colmcille's Church, Aughnacliffe arriving for 11 O'clock Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Brother Seamus Connolly, Bishop Street, Derry City, Derry / Boyle, Sligo

The death has occurred peacefully of Brother Seamus Connolly of the Irish Christian Brothers, Alexandra House, Bishop Street, Derry, and formerly of Seefin, Cloonloo, via Boyle, Co. Sligo. Funeral Mass at 10 o'clock on Friday morning in St Columba's Church, Longtower, Derry followed by burial in Knockbrack Cemetery, Co Sligo, arriving at 2pm approximately.
