The following deaths have taken place in the Leitrim area:

Collette Connolly, Buckode, Kinlough, Leitrim

Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Funeral today, Tuesday morning, at 11am at Aidan's Church, Kinlough followed by burial in St. Aidan’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Rock Hospital Patient Comfort Fund.

Orla Parkinson, Gortnalibbert, Manorhamilton, Leitrim / Templeogue, Dublin

The death has occurred of Orla Parkinson of Gortnalibbert, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim and formerly of Templeogue, Dublin. Sadly missed by her loving husband Scott and children Oisin, Nuala and Olivia, her sister Siobhan and husband Roger, brother Padraig, her nephew Matthew, devoted cousins, relatives and large circle of friends. House strictly private please. Funeral arrangements later.

Joe Harrison, Sheena & formerly Barraghmore, Drumkeerin, Leitrim

The death has occured at Sligo University Hospital of Joe Harrison, Sheena, Drumkeerin and formerly of Barraghmore, Drumkeerin, Co. Leitrim. Deeply regretted by his wife Kathleen, sons Pat, Sean (Collooney), Frank, Brian, Kevin, Eamon & David (Dublin); daughter Maureen, sister Kathleen (Birmingham); daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives and a wide circle of friends.  Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11.00am at Brigid's Church, Drumkeerin. Burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, to Medical North, Sligo University Hospital.

Anne Tierney (née O'Connor), Foxhall, Tuam, Galway / Ballinaglera, Leitrim

Unexpectedly, Anne (predeceased by her husband Michael and son-in-law P.J.) deeply regretted by her loving family, son John, daughter Geraldine, daughter-in-law Ainé, grandchildren David, Michael, Adrian and Karl, great-granddaughter Vienna Rose, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and dear friends. Remains reposing at Glynn's Funeral Home, High Street, Tuam, today Tuesday from 6.00 pm to 8.00pm followed by removal to her home. Funeral Mass at Carras Church onWednesday at 12.00 noon followed by burial in Kilconly Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Patrick (Paddy) Mannion, Bridge Street, Strokestown, Roscommon

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Mannion, 176 Wood End Gardens, Northholt, Middlesex, London UB54QW and formerly of Bridge Street, Strokestown, Co. Roscommon. Paddy will be sadly missed by his wife Breege, son Emmet, daughter Ailish, son in law Liam, grandchildren Keegan and Kaiden, relatives and his many friends. Funeral arrangements later.

Nancy McGinnity (née Fitzpatrick), Donaghmoyne Road, Carrickmacross, Monaghan / Belturbet, Cavan

The death has occurred of Nancy McGinnity (née Fitzpatrick). Donaghmoyne Road, Carrickmacross and formerly Belturbet, Co. Cavan and 'Nancy's' shop, O'Neill Street, Carrickmacross. 13th May 2018. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim, her daughter Bernie and son-in-law Noel (Tumelty). Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, Maureen (Rooney, Carrickmacross), Gerry (Dublin), Ann (Dublin) and Seamus (Carrickmacross), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Maureen (O'Connell), brother Jimmy, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home on Tuesday, 15th May, from 3pm until 9pm. Removal on Wednesday, 16th May, on foot, arriving to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross. House private on Wednesday morning please.
 
Alberta Kearney, Breanross South, Gortletteragh, Leitrim

Alberta Kearney, Breanross South, Mohill, Co Leitrim May 12th 2018 peacefully at Lough Erril Nursing Home, Mohill. Daughter of the late Peggy and Garda Patrick Kearney and sister to the late Dr Loyola Kearney. Sadly missed by sister in law Celia, her nephews Paul and Alan, nieces Jacinta, Michaela, Alberta and Karen, her grandnephews and nieces, cousins, and extended family and friends. Funeral Mass at 11am on Tuesday at  Mary’s Church, Gortletteragh followed by burial in Gortletteragh Cemetery.
