Meet the Sligo-Leitrim candidates: Graham Monaghan

Graham Monaghan, Aontú, Sligo-Leitrim-South Donegal

I am very proud and deeply honoured to have the opportunity to represent the people of this constituency, as your Aontú candidate.

Aontú personifies honesty, integrity and backbone, and is the only party demanding accountability for the financial wastage and damage of this government. Aontú is the only party which stood with the people in the Family and Care Referenda last March and defeated the government in both.

My party has vision. We are leading on critical issues: the cost-of-living crisis, housing, health, crime and anti-social behaviour, and supporting farmers, as well as seeking a common-sense Immigration Policy.

Like my party leader, Peadar Tóibín, I'm not afraid to 'rock the boat' and will always speak out passionately, to represent your needs and priorities.

I will fight for balanced regional development that we in the North-West need and deserve. I will not settle for the 'crumbs that fall from the table' in this Dublin-centric government and state.

I am passionate about the re-opening of the Western Rail Corridor, as an essential element of infrastructure, for the benefit of Sligo-Leitrim and the wider North-West region, and integrated transport provision.

I will continue to vehemently oppose the practice of 'Fracking' in Leitrim and beyond. Vótáil Graham Monaghan, Aontú #1
