Great swimming from Trident SC at the Senior Schools Gala - GALLERY

Congratulations to Ella McKeon who was selected for the Connacht team when she placed second in the 100m Backstroke and 3rd in 100m Butterfly at the senior schools gala in Castlebar last weekend.

It was a great day out for Trident Swimming Club with the junior girls relay team of Ella, Sophie McKeon, Molly Mulvey and Grace Quinn taking first place in both the freestyle and Medley relay.

Grace and Molly took first and second place in the junior 400m freestyle event. Molly was third in the 200m Individual Medley and Grace was third in the 100 Freestyle.

The Boys were well represented with Eoghan Rynn having a great race in the 100m Backstroke taking third place and Cormac Rynn bringing home three medals, second in the 400m Freestyle, and third in both 100m Butterfly and 100m Freestyle.

We had an 11 strong team go to the gala and they all swam great.

Thanks also to Bernice, Fiona and Julie who took on timekeeper duties and Amanda who was our team manager on the day. Well done everyone.
