The following deaths have occurred in the Leitrim area:
Anna Greenan (née McGirl), Muckross, Fenagh, Co Leitrim
Predeceased by her husband James (Sonny). She will be sadly missed by her family Mary, Kevin, Ann, Von, Eileen, Colette, Dolores and Seamus, brother John Joe McGirl (Kiltubrid), sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her residence in Muckross this Thursday evening from 7pm until Friday afternoon at 3.30pm. Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Foxfield on Friday evening arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon followed by burial in Fenagh Abbey Cemetery. Access to the Greenan home is via the Drumroosk North cross on the Ballinamore-Drumshanbo road.
P. J. Lipsett, Park, Kinlough, Co Leitrim
At Aras Mhic Shuibhne, Laghey, Co. Donegal. Sadly Missed by his wife, Mary, Sons, Daughters, Grandchildren, Daughters in Law, His Sister Mary Feeney, Pine Grove Grange. Co Sligo and Brother. Peter, England and all his many relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at his home on Friday 17/11/17 from 6pm until 10pm and on Saturday 18/11/17 from 12 noon until 10pm. Arriving at St Aidan's Church, Kinlough, on Sunday 19/11/17 morning for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Aidan's Cemetery, Kinlough. House private at all other times please. Kevin Joyce, 32 Sean Lee Drive, Belturbet, Cavan
Kevin Joyce, 32 Sean Lee Drive, Belturbet, Co. Cavan and formerly Manchester, England. Wednesday November 15th 2017, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Christopher’s Hospice, Cavan. Sadly missed by his brothers Robin and Martin, sisters-in-law Paula and Lyndsay, nephews, nieces, neighbours all his relatives and his many friends in Belturbet and Manchester. Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan, on Tuesday next, November 21st, from 12.00 noon until removal at 1.30pm to St. Mary’s Church, Staghall, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2.00pm. Cremation will follow at Lakelands, Cavan. No flowers please, donations in lieu, would be appreciated to the Patient Comfort Fund, St. Christopher's Hospice, Cavan c/o McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan, or donation box in the church.
Sean Sharkey, Cornislehane, Kilmore, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Roscommon
The death has occurred of Sean Sharkey, Cornislehane, Kilmore, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Roscommon. Predeceased by his beloved wife Annie and sadly missed by his daughters, Theresa and Mary (O’Hara), sons Brendan (Collooney) and Gerry (England), daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren, Emma, Cian, Conor and Lorraine, relatives, neighbours and friends. Funeral Mass today Friday, November 17 in St. Brigid’s Church, Dangan at 12 noon with burial immediately afterwards in Kilmore Cemetery.
Lucy McManus (née Kiernan), Moyne, Co Longford
In her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband John, peacefully, at the Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford. Sadly missed by her sorrowing family, daughters Mai (Burrows) and Kitty (Toal) Mullingar, sons Aidan (Mullingar) Mel (Moyne) P.J. (Mullingar) and Brendan (Moyne), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Reposing in Laurel Lodge on Saturday from 1pm with prayers at 5pm followed by removal to St Francis's Church, Moyne, arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12 noon followed by burial in Legga Cemetery.
