Carrick U15s became unstuck against a very good Creggs side in their Connacht Cup semi final at the weekend, with the Galway side prevailing 22-10 on the day.

The match was the proverbial game of two halves with the whole first half being played in the Creggs half until against the run of play Creggs got a try right on half time with their first bit of pressure.

Creggs then dominated the second half with Carrick struggling to break out. Creggs domination of the line outs for the whole match was a telling factor which disrupted Carrick's kicking game.

The final score was 22-10 to Creggs with Oran Beirne and Jack Moolick crossing for the Carrick tries.

Team: Jack Moolick, Alex Copley, Rian Costello, Iarlaith Martin, James Lynch, Conor Kelly, Oran Beirne, Charlie McDermott, Matthew Ffrench, Aidan McNiff, Cody O'Brien, Gearoid Curley, Ronan Connolly, Alastair Hewson, Charlie Slevin.
