Patrick Thomas Garvey, Dublin Road, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim / Boyle, Roscommon - 14th January 2023 (suddenly). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken mother Berna, father John, his adored children Saóirse and Shaúna, their mother Taragh and stepson Oisin, sister Stephanie, brother Sean and his partner Alison, sister-in-law Nikki, niece Amber, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Patrick will repose at Mahon’s Funeral Home, Boyle (Eircode F52 ND23) on Tuesday evening from 4.30 o’clock until 6.30 o’clock. Patrick’s Funeral cortege will arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Boyle on Wednesday morning 18th for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Assylinn Old Cemetery. Tom Charlie Clarke, Derrintubber, Drumshanbo, Leitrim - Tom Charlie Clarke, Derrintubber, Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim, peacefully, at the home of his nephew, in Kilclare. Pre-deceased by his sisters, Mariah, Annie, Winnie, his brothers, Sean and Martin. Sadly missed by his nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, relatives and large circle of friends. Reposing at the home of his nephew, Johnny and wife, Mary on Monday, 16th January. Funeral Mass in St Patrick's Church, Drumshanbo, at 12 noon on Tuesday, 17th January, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Rose Margaret Keane (née Carthy), Templemichael Glebe, Longford Town, Longford / Ballinamuck, Longford - The death has occurred of Rose Margaret Keane (née Carthy), Templemichael Glebe, Longford and formerly Drumbad, Ballinamuck, Longford, peacefully and in the loving and excellent care of the staff of Hazelwood Unit, Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford, Saturday 14th January 2023. Predeceased by her loving husband Pauric, parents Patrick and Kate Carthy (née O’Neill), much loved sister Mary and brothers John and Pat. Deeply regretted by her loving nieces Marian, Catherine and Rita, nephew Patsy, niece-in-law Ann, nephew-in-law Mark, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives and her good friends and neighbours. Reposing at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home Chapel, Longford (N39 XE92) on Tuesday from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Funeral Mass at 11.00am on Wednesday 18th in Saint Mel’s Cathedral, Longford, with burial afterwards in Ballinamuck New Cemetery. John Joe Queenan, Chasefield, Cloonloo, Boyle, Sligo, F52 YF83 / Gurteen, Sligo / Boyle, Roscommon -January 14th 2023. Peacefully, in St. John’s Community Hospital, Sligo. Predeceased by his sister Mary Alice and his brothers Tommie and James (Jimmy). John Joe is sadly missed and fondly remembered by his cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends. John Joe will repose at his home (Eircode F52YF83) from 3pm until 6pm on Monday (January 16th) with removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Cloonloo, for prayers at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Templeronan Cemetery. Margaret (Babs) McKeon, Killavil, Ballymote, Co. Sligo -January 15th 2023. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Margaret is sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sister Kathleen, close friend Marie, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends. Margaret will repose at O’Dowd’s Funeral Home, Gurteen, on Tuesday (January 17th) from 5pm until 6.30pm with removal to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Killavil, for prayers at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday at 11am. Burial afterwards in Mount Irwin Cemetery.

Susan Darcy native of Drumcarra, Foxfield - Passed on Wednesday, January 11. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Ellen Darcy her sisters Lucy Canning, Mary Chance and Betty McGovern. Survived  by her loving sisters Bridie Darcy Boyle, Drumcarra and Helen Knight in England. 
Also survived by her many nieces and nephews U.S. and England. Following  Funeral Mass  on January 23, internment in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Hawthorne, New York.

Sean Smith, Gowlagh South, Bawnboy, Cavan -  Member of Cavan County Council. Sunday 15th January 2023, peacefully at home in the loving care of his family after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his parents John F. and Jane, his sister Sr. Kathleen and his brother Stephen. Dearly beloved husband of Anne (née Byrne-Kingscourt), much loved father to Eimear (Shane McManus), Áine (Cian O’Brien), Conor (Leanne Connell) and Kilian (Jordan Lambe), and adored grandfather to Enda, Dearbhla, Senan, Ríain and Méabh. Sadly missed by his sister Carmel Fitzgerald (London), brothers Hughie (Ann-Oxford), Noel, Fr Tommy, Ben and Brendan (Anne), his brothers-in-law Pat and Seamus, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, a wide circle of friends and his Council and Cavan/Monaghan ETB colleagues. Reposing at Smith's Funeral Home, High Street, Ballinamore (N41TD62) on this Monday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Removal from his home on Tuesday arriving to St. Mogue's Church Bawnboy for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Michael Keegan, Faughill, Cloone, Leitrim - The death has occured of Michael Keegan, Cochrene, Alberta, Canada, and formerly of Faughill, Cloone, Co. Leitrim, Tuesday January 3rd 2023 peacefully after a short illness. Predeceased by his wife; Mary and his parents; Thomas and Molly. Sadly missed by his sons; Charles, Michael, Shane and Jason, daughters-in-law and partners, grandchildren, his brother Gerry (Faughill, Cloone), sister-in-law Angela, nieces, nephews and extended family. Michael's burial will take lace on the 12th of January 2023 in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. A Memorial mass will be held for Michael in St. Mary's Church, Cloone on Sunday the 22nd of January 2023 at 10.00am.
